Spring is finally here and it’s time to put away the heavy coats and bring out the lighter layers. Although I’m one to stick to closet staples like the classic trench coat.

For 2022 here’s what I’m seeing amongst my influencer peers and what I’ve recently added to my closet.

1 — The Oversized Trench in a bold color

Turn heads in a bold oversized trench. This looks amazing both dressed up or down and spices up any basic outfit. It’s a statement piece that can be dressed up or down.

The trench coat is a timeless transitional piece.

Camel, khaki, and navy may come to mind as the most timeless colors, but I promise this pistachio one is just as comfortable to wear while looking more spring-like. With midi dresses, balancing jacket proportions might be difficult, but a long trench makes it easy. Wear yours with a pair of chunky ankle boots, white trainers, or a pair of elegant leather loafers

2 — A Light Pink Denim

This spring is all about color, ditch the neutrals and go for a light pink denim jacket.

The pastel pink can go over just about any outfit, it will give your outfit just enough pizzas without being too loud.

3 –The Oversized Denim Jacket

The oversized denim is my favorite, especially over athleisure. I’m wearing mine with biker shorts or a pair of black jeans and sneakers.

4– The Leather Blazer

Stepping in for the black blazer this spring is the camel leather blazer. Another versatile piece that goes over any ensemble.
