Did you know you can make your own plant-based, home-made pistachio butter yourself in minutes with just two ingredients? Yes, that’s right! And you’ll be surprised to see the gorgeous green shades that will await you when you’re done—not to mention the earthy, rich, nutty taste of pistachios. Homemade pistachio butter is similar in texture to peanut butter or sunflower seed butter, and the antioxidant compounds in pistachios are responsible for that lovely green shade.
Plus, pistachios are rich in healthy fats that are good for your heart. Homemade Pistachio Butter is delicious on toast, sandwiches, waffles, or as a dip with fresh veggies or whole grain crackers. Check out my video on how to make this easy spread here.
