Because it’s as healthy as it is delicious. It’s one of my favorite kid-friendly snacks. I used to help my son Nicholas make this as an after school snack.

Here are the all of the ingredients required to make this recipe. Place all the ingredients in the mug. Place the mug in the microwave.Set the timer for 2 minutes. When done, remove the mug from the microwave and stir to combine. Top with granola and enjoy!

- 1 fresh apple
- 1 teaspoon dairy-free margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar or coconut palm sugar
- 2 tablespoons granola, gluten-free
Instructions
- Wash apple, and core, leaving peel on.
Cut into wedges.
- Place apple wedges, margarine, cinnamon, and brown sugar or coconut palm sugar in a large microwavable mug.
- Microwave for 2 minutes.
- Remove, stir and top with granola.
