Whenever I’m meeting with women who are interested in Masala Body’s online weight loss programs, I’m often asked why programs like Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig haven’t worked for them. The truth is, how you respond to those types of systems depends on who you are as a person.

Take this weight loss quiz to find out if an online program or an in-person program is best for your weight loss journey.


1. How do you get things done? I'm a self-directed person but could use some general structure and motivation to follow the next diet I'm self-directed but want accountability and customized guidance to create a lifestyle change 2.

How do you want to keep track of what and how much you eat? I want to log calories, keep a diet journal, track points on an app, etc. I want a quick, customized framework to make sure I stay on track without counting calories 3. What type of a diet do you want to follow?

I want a diet based on metabolism-boosting principles and real ingredients that lower blood sugar naturally I am ok with a diet based on fast-action principles and are open to processed foods and shakes if they help you lose weight more quickly 4. How do you want to plan your meals? I want to have premade meals delivered to my door I want to be able to eat a variety of easy, healthy meals based on my preferences 5. Do you want a thorough education in healthy eating?

I'm not interested in education - just give me the rules to follow I want to learn how to easily eat healthy for life - no matter where I am 6. Are you willing to invest in transforming your lifestyle? I'm willing to invest in the right solution to create a permanent transformation I'm looking for a cheap option to get the job done 7. Do you think you can keep off the weight after completing the weight loss program?

I feel confident in my ability to maintain weight loss after I stop the program I want a lifestyle change that transforms my health for the long-term 8. What kind of weight loss plan do you think best suits your needs? I want a plan that is tailored to my specific dietary needs and preferences I want a general, one size fits all plan to follow
