Cucumber Herb Champagne Sparkler

If you’re looking for a light, herbal cocktail—I’ve got your number with this aromatic Cucumber Herb Champagne Sparkler. It’s the perfect drink to showcase for any occasion, including New Year’s, brunch, graduation, bridal shower, Mother’s day, or a pool party. And with less than 100 calories per serving, you’ll feel indulged without the indulgence.

Based on 5 ingredients—sparkling wine, mineral water, cucumbers, basil, and lemon peel—you can make up this cool, refreshing drink in seconds. Plus, it just looks so pretty!

One great way you can trim down alcohol intake is to mix drinks with mineral water, such as this recipe calls for. I love the pretty purple basil I have growing in my garden in this recipe, but you can use any kind of basil. You can also mix it up and try this recipe with different flavors of mineral water, such as lime or peach, or even different herbs, such as rosemary or cilantro. Serve it in tall champagne glasses for optimal effect.

Cheers!
